Meet katharine

Former barn rat, forever horse girl, and aspiring pony mom

Katharine has ridden since she was seven years old, starting with hunter/jumper ponies, then trail riding and drill team on Arabians, and then back to hunter/jumpers. She leased a few horses growing up, but never had her own until after she finished school. In college, she competed in Intercollegiate Horse Show Association shows, and she currently competes at local and rated shows in the hunter and jumper rings.

Katharine has a Bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Economics from Trinity University and a Master’s in Journalism from Northwestern University. She works in corporate branding, marketing, and communications, and bringing these stories to life combines her love of riding and writing. 

You can find Katharine spending time with her husband, their two children, their Great Dane mix Ace, her two horses Sabra Zay and MadeULook AF, family, and friends.
