I’ve ridden since I was seven years old, starting in hunter/jumper land, then endurance and trail on Arabians, and then back to hunter/jumper world. I leased a couple of horses growing up, but never had my own until after I finished college (Bachelor’s degree in English (minor in Economics) from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, in 2008) and graduate school (Master’s in Journalism from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, in 2010). While at Trinity, I rode at Russell Equestrian Center and competed in Intercollegiate Horse Show Association shows in advanced w/t/c, where I competed in Zones (Z7R2), and novice o/f and flat.
Now, during the workdays, I work in marketing and corporate communications. After hours, I’m bouncing between spending time with family, friends, the boyfriend and Sabra. I always feel crazy busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
