What a difference a year makes

When I first got Sabra, she was uncoordinated and unbalanced. We had to shave off the corners at the trot and the canter, and she couldn’t trot a circle without practically falling over. Here she is about a year ago:


You can see her feet are a bit all over the place, and her nose bounces up and down as she tries to find my hands. Since then, she’s come a long way, and her muscle tone is much improved. Plus, ever since we came back from the July GHHJA show at GSWEC, her flatwork has been really nice. She keeps a consistent frame and stays light and responsive on the flat. (I swear, every time we come back from a horse show, she comes home 150% better; they’ve been great learning experiences!)
